I began a new 1960s newsgroup to give people who experienced the
Sixties, and those who didn't, a place to discuss that era. My hope is
that Usenet travelers will use this group to talk about(but not limited
to) the peace/antiwar movement, civil rights, womens movement, ecology
movements, spiritual developments, unions, medical and technology
advances, music, art, sports, TV, movies, and literature of the 1960s.
I'm particularly interested in how people view the Sixties impact,then
and now.

I know nothing of the 60s or even 70s but sure the life of those times
look very interesting. From photos and documentaries, it feels such
a long long time ago. The technology and cultural gap is so wide that
it seems like people have lived through two different worlds.

Anyways, I got no experience of the 60s but wish I did.
