if they want to do that, they should immitate american B schools.
everybody knows british B schools are second rate and desperately
trying to play catch up to American schools. dumbass chinese copying

Humperdick ,
you are exactly right ,

Chinese copy the 2nd rate B school from the Brit- s.

because Chinese management is not top rate ,
there are too many corruptions and nepotism inside the Chinese
companies .

And yet when you look at international results, students from the USA score
significantly below the OECD average.

Hong Kong on the other hand scores very respectably, as do Japan, South
Korea, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

The Brit's might not be as good as these countries, but compared to the USA
they are gold.

The USA's education system is an international joke.

Well, this is news to me. As an American, I was not aware we had a
"system" of education.

The USA's education system is an international joke.
if America's universities are such a joke, why do all the
internationals flock
to America for their phd? if they can't get into American school, then
they have to
settle for Oxford or some other outdated school.

Sawwry, buddy, but your ranking appears to have been done by europeans
and reflect inaccurate european biases. Here is the true ranking
according to top US magazines and newspapers, including NY Times, based
on academic research:

How come that if a ranking is made by europeans it has a bias and when
it's made by americans it doesn't have a bias? Btw. your ranking is a
ranking of TOP U.S. universities, not TOP world universities.

Btw.
I don't see what makes Stanford the best university in your ranking. I
had three teachers from Standford and they were good, but not top
class. Unlike the scholars for Harvard and MIT.

Cambride Univeristy is undoubtly a top clas by any standards. PaPaPeng
just posted a ranking where Cambridge university is number two.

In terms of reliablity go to google and spearch for world univeristy
ranking. Google is programed to list most quoted rankings first, and my
ranking is no. 1 in google. Of course it does not say everything, but
it just another indicator.

Don't be U.S. biased.

your stupid ranking doesn't mean c*nt. when they call it a "world"
rank,
they have to stick some token none-American university in the ranking
just to
make it APPEAR like it contains some non-American universities. but
everybody knows that the non-American universities are included just as
tokens.

if cambrige is so great, how many nobel prizes did they win lately?
how many publications in the top research journals do they have
compared, say, to a to 10 US university?

british universities cannot compete against US universities because
they pay low. no researcher who can get higher paying job in US would
ever settle for cambridge.

If you are asian students , stick to America , and don' t go to the
UK.

That is why there is a drop in the number of Chinese Students going to
the UK for universities .

Asian students have better chances at American or Canadaian
Universities .

UK always exhibits the past and the UK always stays in the past , like
racial discriminations , just like the Commonwealth , it is the racial
discriminations which killed the British Commnowealth .

read the fine print, buddy. Those 17 nobel prize winners all did their

silicon valley, ebay, yahoo, Stanford.

yes, but rankings are competitive, and the University of arizona are

arizona won some recent nobel prizes.

Well, this is the punch line:

Briliant students that want to be Nobel prize holders will go to
Harward and Stanford because they like sunny beach and great education
and they love America and all that comes with it.

Very bad lausy students that could not make it to Stanford or other
great American schools (like Arizona) will be so unlucky and they will
go to schools like University of Oxford and Cambridge University.

After few years of education: University of Oxford or Cambridge
University will turn more nobel prize winners out of lausy students
than Harward and Stanford out of brilliant students.

Don't get me wrong. I love America. And I would love to be a Princeton
graduate. :-)

Harvard: 1998 - 2005 - 6 Nobel winners
Cambridge: 1998 - 2005 - 9 Nobel winners
Oxford: 1998 -2005 - 8 Nobel

If you want to study for the future ,
you better go to the USA,
and don' t go to the UK .
If you want to know about the past , and
stay in the past , the go to the UK ,
especially Oxford, then you will remain in the past .

the future of this world is in the USA ,
with Japan following the USA.
If you want to remain in the past , then
go to the Brits,

The future of Europe is in Germany and in France ,
with the Swiss following behind these two, so if you want
to look forward to the future in Europe ,
then for to study in Germany France or Switzerland .

If you want to stay in the Past ,
the go to the UK, the UK will always remain in the past ,
just like the Commonwealth meeting in Malta now,
everything that associates with the Brits, is always in the Past .

That is why the US is taking the world .

American Universities are more open to the future world than the Brit

With a degree from a Brit University , you will have problem finding

Actually, if you look at the US economy, you'll find that Americans "do"
less and less. Most industries are being farmed out to other countries,
particularly in the developing world.
chinese take test and brag about scores.
Some brag about scores, some cheat, but looking at actual results, it looks
to me that China is beating the USA at it's own game. The result counts.

My own country is doing very well thanks.
